Series 7000 Static Mixers are a combination of static mixers configured to the particular applicaiton of Coagulation and Flocculation.
This is system is provided as a single pipe for convenience of installation and incorporates a Series 2800 mixer for rapidly dispersing coagulant through the fluid at high shear. This causes "flocs" to form, which are large fragile particles.
Additional mixing is desirable to further combine the particles into still larger particles, however this needs to be performed gently to prevent the flocs from breaking up. A Series 3050 mixer performs this function.
